Well, if you’re looking to take that next step, then You&Food is where it’s at - I analyse your diet and see if there are any areas needing a lil love. I’ll be looking at macronutrients, micronutrients and your fluid and fibre intake too. I’ll also calculate how many calories you should be consuming on a daily basis for your goals so that you can be confident that you are heading in the right direction for you.

You’ll learn about macronutrients and micronutrients and how much of each you should aim to consume.

You’ll be able to more easily identify key components within everyday food items and how to pick out the healthiest options that are best for you and your lifestyle.

This means that you can be more confident in what you choose to eat and how much of it too.

Most of these sessions are online so they can easily fit around your schedule, however, if you are local to Manchester then I may do in-person consultations too.

The sessions are collaborative and non-judgemental and we work on gradually transitioning to a healthier, balanced diet where you still have freedom and can enjoy food!

Ok so how does You&Food work exactly?

We start with an initial consultation and a look at your current diet so that I can see the kinds of things you currently eat and your intake of different nutrients. From there, we arrange ongoing consultations (usually weekly check-ins but we can discuss what will work best for you) to monitor your progress and make any adjustments where needed. 

You’ll have a handy app to pop all of your meals and snacks into so that I get an accurate insight and it’s nice and easy for both of us to see. 

Through the app you can also send any messages with any questions or concerns you might have and I can keep you motivated and on track by communicating between our sessions too.

The key thing here is that one size does not fit all when it comes to nutrition, so let’s find what works for you.

Throughout the whole process and beyond, I’m here as your personal cheerleader and guide, supporting you the entire way through your online nutrition coaching journey.

You can pay monthly or upfront and we can chat about the best option for you. This can be virtually or over a coffee and is super low pressure – if you feel like I’m not the Nutrition Advisor for you then no hard feelings, I may even be able to recommend you to a better fit!

A common misconception is that eating healthy is really time consuming. I mean, yes it is never going to be as quick as popping a ready meal in the microwave, but you get out what you put in. And it doesn’t have to take up lots of time, a lil extra planning and you’ll get the hang of it in no time.

I imagine some diets have worked – for a bit – and then they don’t. Right? That’s because the majority of these ‘diets’ are not aimed at long term solutions. I put ‘diets’ in quotations because we all have a diet – it’s just a term for what we eat. The word just has a bad rep from awful, restrictive fad diets that should not be followed long term. I’d like to introduce you to an easier way, a way that can actually help you to achieve your goals.
